Sexual orientation, gender identity and Judaism are all broad subject areas that have been addressed in books, articles, websites, movies, memoirs, ceremonies, and textbooks. Trying to find and assess resources for a particular audience, a specific purpose, or for a special occasion can take a great deal of time and effort. The JHVRC Resources Library is a categorized, annotated, and carefully selected collection of quality materials, in various media, that represent what is currently available on the intersection of these areas.
Use the "Categories" and "Topics" to browse and to help locate relevant resources or use "Search" to retrieve resources if you already know some specific information (e.g., author, title, subject).
Some resources are housed elsewhere in the site, or on the Institute for Judaism, Sexual Orientation & Gender Identity website. If you are looking for Liturgy and Ritual, stay here at the JHVRC. If you are looking for Resolutions & Responsa, Inclusion materials, and/or Welcoming and Inclusive Synagogues & Organizations, visit the Institute's website.
