Description/Summary This prayer adapted by Rabbi Lisa Edwards of Congregation Beth Chayim Chadashim (Los Angeles, CA, www.bcc-la.org) for Pride Shabbat and Shabbat Noach uses the gay pride symbol of the rainbow as a metaphor for ot habrit, “a rainbow across the sky, a sign of the covenant between You and all living things, telling us then and forever all of us are Your creation”.
